Red Berry Celebrates with Junction 2800

In September, a Red Berry client from 2004 called with an exciting new project! Mary H. Parker, the former CEO of All(n)1 Security, held a vision for a multipurpose community center in Southwest Atlanta. With over 30,000 square feet on 7.5 acres, the facility would house event space, a business incubator, and co-working space, as well as educational programming to benefit the local community. The building would become the permanent home of the Mary Parker Foundation.

The challenge.

A building had been found, but not purchased. No name had been selected for the new facility. And there was a Grand Opening scheduled in 7 weeks. Could Red Berry create the branding and marketing? Of course.

Quality work can be achieved in a limited time frame with experience and efficiency. Creative Director Terri Longfellow Fuller collaborated with Mary Parker’s team for a successful launch. On October 18, Junction 2800 opened its doors at 2800 Campbellton Road in Atlanta to more than 225 supporters from the community.

The connection.

Terri developed the creative strategy for a clean, contemporary brand with an authentic connection to the local community. Campbelltown Road is named after the town of Campbellton, Georgia. In the late 1800s, the community began to die when the Atlanta & West Point Railroad bypassed town. So, we added a new stop on the map! The name Junction 2800 symbolizes the intersection of community and opportunity.

In 7 short weeks, Red Berry crafted a comprehensive brand program including the name, tagline, logo, event invitation, business stationary, trifold brochure, street banners, building banners, facility signage, retractable banners, press release, copywriting, sponsorship packet, and social media brand launch, on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter*. Then, we took a day off.
